Suneal Bedi

Suneal Bedi is an Associate Professor of Business Law and Ethics and a Jerome Bess Faculty Fellow at the Kelley School of Business where his research focuses on intellectual property, marketing law/ethics, and corporate strategy. Professor Bedi is also an affiliated faculty member at the Center for IP Research and the Center for Law, Culture, and Society at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. He teaches classes in business ethics, corporate law, and fashion law/ethics.

His research employs multiple methods (including quantitative, philosophical, and experimental) to answer business-relevant questions that sit at the intersection of law, business, and public policy. Professor Bedi's work has been published or is forthcoming in the Iowa Law Review, Vanderbilt Law Review, Harvard Journal of Law & Technology, Alabama Law Review, Indiana Law Journal, Ohio State Law Journal, Journal of Business Ethics, amongst other journals.

He has also written for the New York Times, Forbes Magazine, US News and World Report, The SF Chronicle and other media outlets. In addition, he has assisted with intellectual property disputes providing theoretical and empirical analysis and provides ongoing branding/ethics consulting.

Before academia, Professor Bedi worked as a corporate private equity attorney at Ropes & Gray LLP.
